Spring Break Week with Benjamin
Benjamin came down Sunday for the week of Spring Break. The weather has not cooperated much.......been very windy and/or cold. We got out Monday in the wind and did manage around a dozen nice crappie.
Tuesday was windy too and did a little better with 17 nice crappie.
Wednesday was a rain day and no fishing.
Today (Thursday) we headed out for stripers in the cold 20+ winds and managed one keeper striper.
Supposed to get down into the mid-20s the next 2 nights. Saturday and Sunday look more promising!

Friday was impossible wind, so no fishing. Took Benjamin out with his mom on Saturday for crappie, but the inch of rain Wednesday muddied up lake. We did manage 4 keepers.
Took him out with his dad Sunday for crappie, but the wind was unforgiving to crappie fish. Changed plans and trolled for stripers in the 25++ winds. Benjamin caught the only striper before we got tired of being beaten by the waves.

The wind just doesn't want to quit!
I think Benjamin is getting known around LKA fishing circles.
