LKA Stripers/Hybrids 3-11

Got out on the lake after lunch for crappie, but the 15-20 winds made that impossible.  Switched up and put out some striper rods further down lake.  Winds were still nasty.  Ended up with 4 fish and threw back the short fish.  Had 2 nice 23-24 inch stripers and a 24 inch (citation) hybrid.  The hybrid hit like a freight train and took me for a ride for about 15 minutes and trying not to tangle him in the 5 other lines in the howling wind.  Only fished a little over 2 hours after battling the winds.

Here is the hybrid.....about 12 inches wide.

Dang Curly!  The warm side of the lake always sucked for fishing, but that could be because of me.  And, I was always south on the cold side on the waverunners, so......clearly I just suck at fishing!!
