5-8-20, Cedar

Decided to partake in a stogie in the drizzle with my 4wt and hand made flies.

The target was BGs but I only caught two of them in the hour...

Both were fat and feisty!

The one in my palm chased the fly and nabbed it just as I was bringing it out of the water. Cool!

The story though was these pesky LMB!

I caught 7 or 8 of them from this size...

No lost flies today but the gray/red one is pretty chewed up.

Now, we get a dose of winter...in May!

Here are 3 new creations...

Interestingly, most people will make 6 or 12 flies of the same thing at one sitting. I can't do that. Weird.

Tomorrow is out with 25mph+ winds!

The three on the left look great, but I'll be curious to hear about how the one on the far right does....

I tied a few more over the last few days. Then I took inventory. Have no clue where it all came from!

That meme reminded me of my 2 years at Gonzaga HS. Spent many hours writing (instead of being on the ball field) crap like that on the chalkboard in JUG. Those of you that went to Catholic HS school will know what JUG is.
