Cool. Thanks for sharing! I like how he explained the physics compared to the way most people try to free a lure by doing the same thing but pulling the line between the reel and the first rod guide.

Jeff English used a similar method and he was good at it. I have always been pretty good at it because I would pull lots of line but it was still the method you describe.
