Thanks I’ve seen a lot lately!

Some Cuban guy I know drove by them last night and told them that they could not take fish from the lakes and that the police had been called.
It started to rain, and they all left. Two vehicles, one of them a van.

A buddy of mine saw the group... also said a group from Maryland were cited for trespassing doing the same thing

I'm torn on this issue
One half of me says they gotta eat
The other half says they're breaking the law

That is just a waste. Coming from MD to Ashburn to fish? That is asking for trouble. Do it in their own backyard. Fishing for food should be allowed within the law.

This ain't their 1st rodeo. This has been going on at Cedar (and other lakes) for many a year. I've had many conversations, in my native tongue, with some of the perps. They get a bit surprised after they say, "no speak English". But it's a bit of a danger to confront them as Curly knows when he ran into some of MS13's finest.

They using nets or lines? Good luck if they have a bucket full.

Hand lines and pretend to not speak English. Mark the DGIF warden is in a new position and no longer patrolling the area.

I ran into Mark years ago while hunting. Good guy. Called him when some poachers were roaming the woods popping off a shotgun at anything that moved. He got them.

Yep...when I walk by, I will mention "no keep fish". They say, "no speak English". I then turn on the Cuban charm and their eyes light up in bewilderment. Some times , they just move on.

That's great. We need to find out who his replacement is.
