4/6/20 Cedar

Ernie was kind enough to allow me to take my daughter, JJ (#2 of 4) and two granddaughters fishing at Cedar.  We were there about and hour and a half.  I was trying to teach my two granddaughters a little, but using a slip bobber on kiddie poles is not easy and we were trying to maintain distance as much as possible.  We moved a couple times and ended up across from Ernie's.  He finally came out and showed us how to do it on a fly rod.  I gave JJ my rod with a micro chatterbait and she finally got the skunk off with this bass about a pound or a little more.

It was a beautiful day and I was glad to see JJ, Josephine and Dorothy.  Before they left I gave them an Easter basket my wife prepared for them with some sock puppets, bunny ears and stickers.

Thanks, Ernie.

Re: 4/6/20 Cedar

Glad they had fun.

I caught one that went 1.5 on the fly rod...ounces.

The BG was feisty. They are getting closer and closer to the shore line.

Time to go fishin' again!
