LKA Crappie 3-14

Got Benjamin out today for crappie.  Light winds and temps in the 40's when we got out this morning.  First bite was a monster....pulling drag, and I figured it was a 3 pounder.  As he got it to the boat......not a crappie, but an 18 inch hybrid from 4 feet of water.

So we fished another 3 hours and crushed the crappie.  We decided to only keep fish over 14 inches.  Big fish was just short of 15 inches and easily over 2 lbs.

We kept six fish that were between 14-15 inches.
