Nice!  What did they bite on?

Years ago, I had access to the Charles E. Smith farm property's ponds.  I caught one LM about 7 pounds and lots of other nice fish the few times I was able to fish there.  My contact there managed the ponds and the farm at the time.

Those are HAWGS!!!  Lightly pressured ponds like that are amazing.  Down in FL they are opening up a new body of water next to the fabled Stick Marsh that supposedly is loaded with BIG bass.  Hopefully Ernie and I are going to be able to fish it this Fall.  I promise we will post pics.  And if I get really lucky I am going to be fishing it in April, about 1 month after they opened it up.  I am sure it will get hammered between now and then, but it is still going to be fun!!!!
