Many thanks to Paul Naj for coming over and identifying all of these lures. He had a wonderful trip down memory lane....
I will visit to peruse your inventory.
Will definitely stop by Monday evening or Tuesday morning for some of those redfins.
We're open during the day (most of them) as well...
Lots of the stuff is on eBay now....but not the Red Fins or metal...yet.
Over $200 worth of lures sold already...have made barely a dent in the inventory.
All proceeds to the Wounded Heroes Fishing Project.
Just went over the $500 mark!
That is great!
My office looks like like a shipping warehouse....
Update- time selling on eBay has been well spent as the proceeds go to a great cause. But it does take time to sell 75+ lots.
Surprisingly, 2 of the unknown bottle plugs went for over $40 each! Must have been some rare plugs. Some of the larger Red Fins had a couple of strong bidders.
Sales are slower now since the stock is dwindling but so far, we have brought over $1000 to the program!
It's been fun and I now know a whole lot more about east coast (ME to NJ) shoreline striper fishing...that I will never put to use.
Well done Ernie!
That is very cool! Congrats!
BTW, 95% of that loot is sold...now working on a couple other donations. eBay sales will stop once the weather turns decent for most of the time.
