New Year's Day Crappie at LKA

Benjamin came down to the lake today for 5 days of fishing.  The striper bite has been non-existent for the past 10 days or so.  Took him crappie fishing with the intent to teach him how to use jigs instead of minnows.  I had landed 15 or 20 before he finally figured it out (with much coaching) on the presentation.  We caught well over 100 with many 11+" fish.  Big fish was around 12.5".  Here is Benjamin with two that were over 11".  We let them all go back since I've got a freezer full of fish.

Yep...for Debbie.

My Silverado is now for sale.

Malibu might be going to a needy family.

We keep cars for a long time...

Malibu is an '05
Trailblazer is an '03
Silverado is an '02.
