Northern Neck specks and stripers 10/12

Great bite on Saturday morning! Started out throwing topwaters for stripers and they were all over it from the very first cast. They'd smash it over and over until they got hooked. Tons of fun.

That bite lasted about half an hour and after it died I went to look for trout. Didn't take long to find them, and they were very aggressive. They'd hit hard, I'd hook one and another would chase it to the boat. Caught them on topwaters, jigs, swimbaits, and mirrolures. Lot of small ones but enough quality trout to keep it interesting. Caught more schoolie stripers too. Wish I would have kept count.
