8-1-19, Pohick

Curly and I hit Pohick early...

...it was a beautiful morning.

The mission was to find some snakeheads! The tide was just right, the water temp was 80df.

Curly and I each had a bite, his on a mouse under a pier, mine on a fluke at the pad edge.

That's it...no more bites! SKUNK!

We fished for a little less than a 4 hours...a thousands casts! It was dead.

Off the water at 10:30a...and then we had a great cheese-steak at Rubino's. 1st time there for me. I liked it!


Time to go fishin' again!

Numbers were great. Got three on the board... 2 @ 11.5 and 11.25
Lots of big cats up to 37" (scary in the yak)
