Very scary....

From Boonsboro HS (MD): "Yesterday our brother Harry (8th grade) was in horrible fishing accident. He was thrown to the back of the boat from a tree and then ejected from the boat. He is now sedated in Fairfax trauma unit with air pockets in a partially collapsed lung, a punctured spleen, 4 broken ribs, gashes in his back, and a severely severed arm that has already had one surgery. Please pray for our family."

Re: Very scary....

That is terrible!  Poor kid.  Boats and water are no joke and safety is a full time job on the water.

Re: Very scary....

Did this happen on Saturday?

As I was coming home from a Potomac float, I was passed by a couple local firetrucks, on hauling a trailer with a 4x4

After they passed, fire trucks from different districts passed me - all at high speed
