Mission BBQ, Sterling

Just got back from having lunch (for free) there...they treat all veterans on this day. Place was packed! And the BBQ was good!

Last week, they provided lunch for 65 people at the Lake Fairfax Trout event. I had originally asked them if we could get a reduced rate. They said nah, we'll take care of it all! Pretty amazing stuff!
The boss of the Sterling store came by our table and thanked me for allowing them to serve our veterans last Saturday. What? I  thanked him for providing lunch for us last week!!

They had cake today as well.

Their business model is to serve those who served.

They catered my Daughter's wedding and the fee was reasonable and the food very good.

They are fantastic. I used to drive to the one on Boston Street in Bmore whenever I was making a trip up 95N. The day the opened one 5 minutes from me I think I cried tears of joy.

I can walk out of there for a fantastic meal for me, and my 2 kids for just under $25...amazing. Management at the store is amazing too, always ask if the food is good and if something is wrong they will make it right.

I stopped trying to go to veterans related free meals.  WAY to crowded for me.

I enjoy trying them all out everywhere I go.

Smokin' Billy has the best brisket around. He has a BBQ trailer just south of Gainesville. Only open 2-3 days a week.

George (hook up) and Curly both smoke bbq and JC (firemunkee) made some awesome BBQ for the HS fishing tourney last spring.

It wasn't too bad and I went (Mission) since they are new friends now.

And I forgot that Tom (junger) also smokes up ribs and maybe more. The ones he brought to the HS tourney were tasty.
