Occoquan Reservoir 10/3/18

I took advantage of the dry weather and got out again today.  I repeated my run from last week, but the topwater and morning bite did not materialize.  The water was stained to muddy.  I did not get any bites at all until the wind picked up and I decided to drift and throw a spinnerbait.  I got the skunk off with this little guy.

I ended up catching 4 in a short period and then hooked a better one that measured 17.5"

I kept working the shoreline and ended up with 11 fish up to 17.5".

Including this chunky 17"er.

I could not get a bite on anything else.  I tried a tube, senko, WP, crankbaits and a chatterbait.  Nice day to be out.  Off the water by 3pm.
