Long Float

I have always wanted to float Algonkian to River Bend. I arrived at 8am to a closed launch, so I improvised.

It was a beautiful morning.

The problem was there is hardley any flow. It took me two hours to paddle to the dam.

I started fishing below the breaks.

This dark one went 14.

There is class I and II rapids along the way, but as I said the flow is down.

I thought the trip might take 4 hours. I was wrong. Since I was running late for my pick up I paddled almost the whole way. With about 30 minutes of fishing the trip took 6 hours.
