June 16th Double Report

Tonight I was joined by father and son team who really wanted to experience the backwater bite. So I pushed back into the pads early on low water to chase snakeheads. Several blowups but in hind sight they just sniffed the lures and followed most of the evening. Poppers did there thing on LGMouth earlier with several caught. Should have stayed with poppers. But hind sight is 20/20. Still a fun team and they worked hard for the few fish they caught.

No rain Saturday for first time in weeks, isn't that different.  Charlie and Tom drove down from Gettysburg to try for snakehead.  The snakehead weren't showing us any love but,  the largemouth cooperated.  It was sunny,  warm with low humidity,  as nice evening indeed.
