Beech Report - 11/1/08

I headed out to the ABC lakes today to see what was happening. The best fish I saw I tried to catch for a total of an hour by way of three different stops. Unfortunately, this 3-4lb beauty just stared me down and humbled me. I ended up with five bass at Beech all under 1lb. I had a brief stop at Alder to no avail and I made a quick lap around Cedar and ended up with one bass. Six in about 3 hours.

The lure of choice was a berkley shaky worm in watermelon color.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Patrick,

I fished Beech this morning as well and saw a nice sized LMB cruising the shallows near the willow tree. Not sure it it could be the same bass but it was not interested in what I had to offer, which was the gulp minnow.

It was a bit windy but caught three small bass and two crappie so I guess it was worth it...

Nothing on the fly rod for my 45 minute effort on Cedar!
