Cedar 11/1

Fished the point right behind Ernie's house for about an hour this evening. Bought a pack of Gulp 2" minnow grubs from Dick's sporting goods and wanted to try them out. Caught three crappie and four bluegill in the first half hour. I was surprised the bluegills can fit the grub it it's mouth as it is pretty fat, but they managed to.

The crappie are holding about 25 to 30 feet out and don't seem to be schooling in just one place. They are spread out.

Ernie - I am beginning to really believe in these gulp products. The fish seem to take it and hold on. I also that Dick's sells the Gulp Alive! juice alone, in Crawdad and Garlic flavors. Was wondering if soaking the wacking worms in that stuff would help make it more appealing to the bass.

It was nice evening to fish....
