Looking for CD player for my stereo

Anyone have a decent CD player that they want to sell?

My 30 year old one just died on me, very tired motor.

Go down to Best Buy or a similar store & buy one.  They're cheap now

Re: Looking for CD player for my stereo

George is right.  That may be the best deal now as they are doing away with cd's.  I have a 5 disc carousel as my main cd player.  They will work with most DVD players too. I bought a cheap one I use with my basement stereo.

How cheap is cheap? Doesn't look like any price drop to me....

Looking at a used Denom for $50.

Re: Looking for CD player for my stereo

DVD/Blu-Ray's can play audio CD's, and will probably be better than a used CD player because they sample higher bit rates.

I'm sure you can get a used one for cheaper than $50.

If this was a couple years ago, I'd have a few sitting in storage, but I donated them to Goodwill, which you may want to check out for a standalone CD player (Goodwill Retail Store).

Have you thought about going digital? Meaning converting your audio CD's to a digital format and storing it on a cloud service such as Amazon Prime or iTunes Match, then you can stream to any compatible device giving you a lot more flexibility.

Edit: Here's a recertified Sony DVD player for $25 that can play all types of re-writable discs too.

Thanks...this is great info, I have a couple of them laying around somewhere not being used.

Yes, but no. I actually like thumbing through CD's (they are stacked in alphabetical order) and albums until something hits me...and then I play it. The CD player is in the basement and I use it when fooling around with fishing stuff in the winter.  Upstairs, I have  a Bluetooth turntable that I use for vinyl.

When walking, I do use Pandora for random tunes from artists I've chosen. I like the surprise there.

Let me look around...think I tossed an old cd player recently.  Never used it anymore! But, I might have another one laying around.

Thanks...I did find a working DVD payer that was not being used.

I'll still take a look in my garage.  I recall seeing one on the shelf.
