Took advantage of the 45 degree heat wave today and fished the dock for about an hour. Ended up catching eight or so bass or and crappie on jigs under a bobber. All small, but good January pullage anyway. Looking to get a few more over this weekend.

Nice fishes!!! How do you work a jig under the bobber do you just let it sit there or do you give little twitches?

Occasional twitches... most times it seems like if I don't get bit within a few seconds of the bait reaching full depth, it's not going to happen anyway. All of the bass hit so lightly that the bobber barely even moved. In most cases it popped up about 1/8" and just stayed like that - wind didn't help seeing the bite, but it did help with giving the jig just the tiniest bit of action. I think it's mostly the crappie nibble on the end that does the work though...
