I signed up for myoutdoortv.com and have been watching the MLF series for about a year now. Well worth the 10.00 bucks a month.
Tried several others but really like the variety this internet station has.. what shame it is not on Roku or ChromeTV.
I just watch it on my mac/ droid phone/ pc at work and my chromebook.
MLF rules..

Youtube for me.
I used to have WFN with my FiOS package, but VZ stopped carrying it a couple years ago, and I took it for granted...I barely watched it but now I wish I had it.

I used to go fishing in the cold months lol now I live vicariously through others

Fishing when I can. I enjoy MLF too though, definitely my favorite tournament format. Also been working on a boat project for the last 3 months and plan to be working on that all Winter as well.

FIOS is not friendly for fishermen.....I'll tape the saltwater shows that NBC Sports offers and watch them when I can.
Fishing shows and flea markets will at least have something fishing related on the calendar. Interestingly, I usually don't buy too much stuff (except for oysters in Frederick) but it's good to get out and hand with like minded (and frustrated) fishing folk. I willell some stuff at the Jan. 20 show in Odenton and will be helping sell stuff for the Wounded Heroes Fishig Program at the Bass Flea Market in Dale City on Feb. 3.
Every year I hate the cold even more.....but we have no plans to move anytime soon. Heck, I was cold fishing last week and it was 50! Probably gonna freeze while fishing for stripers tomorrow......
Hopefully, we can get in to some yellow perch this February (only 2 1/2 months away and a birdie told me that some were caught last Feb- Mar.).
Pitchers and catchers report in around Feb. 13, that's the official spring date for me. Good fishing will be just around the corner. And...DST begins Mar. 11!

I think I'm looking forward to that more than anything. I can handle the cold, but this dark at 5pm stuff is the worst.

Unless the water's hard, I'm usually fishing every month. Small mouth bass still need to eat.
Usually because I lost my back a couple weeks ago and still trying to find it - so instead of fishing, I poured a couple hundred jigs, painted them, and a few are going to get clothed soon

Well...you may be but it might be worth a trip to see the doc. Will only get worse as you age, and you WILL age!
Ask Curly about before and after....

Before: pain of 8-9 on a scale of 10 for almost 4 weeks before I could get surgery scheduled!
After: Zero pain immediately after a minor procedure

I am spending too much money on gear! I will be making chatterbaits, buzzbaits and working with my new fly tying vise. Lure modification and getting stuff together to give to Ernie for wounded heroes.

It's a winter sickness!
I am participating in 2 Flea Markets this winter, one in January (20th) to thin out my personal stuff...have 2 tables....2 Custom St. Croix rods, an Omen 13, a Kistler. And on and on.....
The other is the one down in Dale City on Feb. 3. We (Wounded Heroes Fishing program) will have 2 or 3 tables. Many trolling rods, vintage rods, Ardent Reels (new), tons of baits etc.
Lots of work to do getting stuff organized and priced out.

Were the Dr's able to diagnose your back problems before the procedure?
Do you mind sharing what the minor procedure was?
The history of my back pain started in 2008 while shuttling kayaks on River Road in MD. A guy was flying out of the town of Potomac during a rain storm, hydroplaned into my lane & hit me head on. I've had a couple MRI's, been to pain management for epidurals, tried the pain med route, and nothing helped.
If someone was able to look at my MRI shots, point to the problem, then explain how they'd fix it, I'd jump on it.
Thx in advance

All pain meds do is mask the pain.
Someone (either Curly's or my doc) should be able to look to see what is causing it and make a recommendation. Sometimes it is as simple as strengthening (physical therapy and beyond) the muscles but other times it could be disk related or you may even have arthritis (need X-ray) which will assist inflame the nerves. The latter is what I am managing through right now. If it works, no surgery. If not, then they open the lower back up and do a roto rooter. I do not have the constant pain that Curly describes. Mine comes when it wants and then leaves for a bit.
Doing nothing about it does nothing for it. Just sayin'!

Listen to Ernie. I slipped a disc and suffered for 3 months (actually not being able to walk the last month) until surgery. It was an out patient surgery and took 2.5 hours (usually 1.5 the docs said), but they ended up drilling two holes through my L2-3 to push the disc back in, clean up the jelly donut mess, and burn the wound shut (cauterize). I was able to walk the very next day! Don't get me wrong...I had to rebuild the muscles again, but it was worth it. And, getting off the pain meds is the bonus!
