Dec 3rd Report

Started at dawn with a cold shower that quickly ended but chilled us a bit. We ran to several good fishing spots and really did not like any of the marks we saw on the lying machine. We bounced around till I found the right marks in 30 feet of water. Tide was high and not moving so I did a straight down drop on 4 rods and missed every fish. Ha not a great start but it happens sometimes. Tide started out and the swung around on the hook and it was on like donkey kong. Landed many small ones and few eaters. Nice big hit and this cat was hot and a very good fight.

The bite died and the grass was a pain so moved again. 15 minutes on the hook and rod screams line out and we land another nice big one. No pics of this one. Many eaters where put in the livewell also.

Then the bite died again so we search 4 more spots and landed up by the bridge. Another pic worthy cat.

Big hit and the fight was on only to bust the leader off.. that was most likely the biggest fish never caught. Fight lasted a good 10 minutes as the fish ran across our lines and managed to stay tangle free.
Leader was rubbed raw right at the hook area. Figured the hook was deep and those little teeth cut the leader.
A couple more eaters and the tide died and so did the bite.

Great day with a fun crew.
