12-2-17, UP

Bob and I were bummed that our striper trip got cancelled due to wind and 3' waves so we decided to give the UP anothe shot today.

It's always an adventure!

On our way down, we spotted our 1st eagle!

This is where I always say, "where's JC!".

Withing 30 minutes. Bob scored a 13.5" smallie!

I thought this would be the start of a good day but after visiting many wintering holes, that was the only fish of the day...I never felt a bite.

But, when we got back to the ramp, there was a picture taking session going on for a wedding party so we had them hop on the boat and get some memory shots!

That is so cool. Capt Dave and I went out of PLO today and tried to find some cooler convict bass. We caught well over 40 sub legal fish.
Headed back in at 3pm for the long drive home.
Sounds like you had a great time with the wedding party.

We might not always catch fish, but it's always an adventure. Another fun "LAST" trip with Ernie. (we shall see)

Your boat?

Capt Daves boat and it performed like a charm. 50 plus miles of running.
