Does anyone paing lures?

I have a couple of very nice bare wood lures that could use some paint. Anyone need the practice?

I did send them to Craig and he is an absolute artist!

I should have done a before and after picture.

Here is what he did:

Step 1- sand everything.
Step 2- Realize that the original eyes on this bait are tiny.......I decided to add my own customization and up size the 3mm eye to 8mm eyes....I mean....why not. I drilled out eye sockets to accommodate the new eyes.
Step 3- 4 coats of primer
Step 4- I decided to paint the popper Aurora Black, which is a Lucky Craft color that is a great herring imitation, it is actually a blue back bait. I added orange inside the cup.
Step 5- First coat of Epoxy, this bait will get at least 2 coats. I am toying with the idea of adding black "striper" lines to the bait over the first coat of epoxy. I will decide on that later today. I've learned that less is more so I'm up in the air on this one atm.
