A few ponds 8/23

Forgot to post this. Went out with a friend of mine to a few ponds, can't remember the names of them, but one has a lot of lily pads and the water is never clear. Caught a few and the biggest bass there, then we went to the pavilion to do some bluegill fishing and that was the most fun I've had pond fishing in a very long time. It's childish maybe, but I love using a bobber, I think it's the coolest thing!

Side note: what's up with the vegetation around the shoreline at the pavilion? I almost needed a machete, it was like a forest!

Biggest one, caught on the first cast.

If you fly fished, you could use a strike indicator instead of a bobber. Same thing.

Good job on the bass.

Lots of rain equals thicker vegetation this year. Won't be cut until winter.

Time to go fishin' again!
