My brother came back from Mexico with a five pack of cigars..they look authentic and smoke very clean..taste good too.
But this is where I question them. He got them from vendor on the beach in Cancun Mexico. The guy selling them was Chinese.
I will bring them this Sunday as I have two left to be tested , looked over , examined and smoked by a person who is more knowledgeable than me on the subject.
HMM I wonder who that would be?

I know a Cuban guy who is fishing out of Slavin's on Sunday. I'll ask him to sample them but I've been told that there is a lot of contraband out there. Thing is, there are a lot of cigars today that are as good or better than Cuban cigars. Their quality is not what it was....most of the time.
My son brought me a 3 pack of Cubans from Nicaragua a few years back. They literally fell apart while I was smoking one of them.
I bought some Cubans from a Cuban lady in St. Maarten. As I walked away (she gave me a great deal ) , I looked at her and said, "where are they really from"? She was too stunned to answer.

It would be just my luck if those two yahoos got me arrested for possession of smuggled cigars (and I don't even smoke)

This will be a good report.

I've pulled out popcorn for this one!
Ernie and Mike....just a side note. I gave up smoking a while back. I do happen to have a couple of Cohibas in the box though. I'd say legit since they were bought in Cuba, but as you have all said who knows of quality and who can really vouch for them. I'll bring em over to you Ernie when I pick up the rail.

Would be more than happy to be the tester.....

We both declared the cigars to be very good Cubans.
