April 2nd Double Report

Today we picked away at them here and there. Mostly all big ones in all stages of pre-spawn. Only a hand full moved up into the shallows to do the dance in full tuxedo. Two big cats where also landed.

It was beautiful and a little breezy today and the fishing started out REALLY slow.  They did start biting a bit after awhile.   We'd get a small flurry and then pick at them here and there then a flurry then, pick, pick,  flurry.  We fell a little short of a limit but, almost all of them were big.  Jim, Alvie and Charlie were a great crew.  I didn't have my Indian Head Charters picture pole today so,  we took pictures of six of the big fish.
