Shakeout 2017

Both big boats from IHC launched today and they both ran flawlessly.  Capt Dave had his brand spanking new 90 HO from Evinrude on his boat and me with my older Merc 200. Both started nice and ran smooth. But the Evinrude 90 HO was so quite and had a great hole shot to boot. My Merc 200 did not like the cold water and had a slight surge and fall as the cold water coursed thru the engine. We ran about 7 miles and re-started about 7 times. We did find a huge school of crappie and we will capitalize on them later. A brand new spot that has plenty of room for two boats. Big crappie marked and seen.

We have only three days left in the season April 2nd and May 6th and 7th..
