muddy creek

local to me, I have bicycled over this bridge many times.

i have been known to pause and behold the waters. I'm such moments, I saw enough to suspect a robust ecosytem.

alas, until today I have foresaken to opportunity to wet a line.

finally i took my trusty ultralite and a simple micro tube jig and set about probing her depths.

i was rewarded with a nice 12" smallie. then a short smallie followed by a Kentucky large mouth.
3more fiesty keeper smallies checked in.
i was more than happy, then headed for home

Re: muddy creek

i returned..
the water was down slightly, and had become clear.
i could see the channel chute that the smallies had been wolfpacking in.
i suspect they spooked

I discussed this a bit last fall. This is an old and tired forum with NO advertising which is the way I want it. No way for mobile unless we all move to Facebook, snapchat or some other means.

Don't really know what else to do.....but glad you're getting out and catching!
