Pac Bay Rod Lathe (powered rod wrapper)

Beginning to downsize my range of hobbies.  As a result, I have an older but very lightly used Pac Bay Rodsmith RW-3L.  You can see one operate in this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv8acDb5dyU

The lowest price I could find it for currently is $286 at Netcraft
http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/rod-wrappers/

Includes:

Two pieces of four foot track (makes an 8' total length)
High speed motor (for wrapping)
Low speed motor (for drying)
Standard chuck to hold the blank
Three adjustable rod rests to support the blank
Thread carriage to hold and tension the thread
Foot pedal to control motor speed
Spare belt to connect motors to chuck

Asking $150

I am very interested in this... I'm not an accomplished rod builder but I have built enough on a hand wrapper to want to take the next step.

Ernie, this would work! I just responded to Doug and I will gladly take you up on your generous offer to bring it up!

OK...I will get with Doug and get it picked up. Pray for good weather on Feb. 1! Should be up there around 2:30pm.

Re: Pac Bay Rod Lathe (powered rod wrapper)

I have a hand wrapper and for the 1/2 dozen rods I build each year that's fine.

But I was tempted .......

And Ernie, why do you think I didn't get into pouring plastics - I have enough hobbies related to fishing
