Oct 8th Report

With Matthew bearing down on us I was wondering if the weekend would be great or a wash out. Last minute, we decide to go and darn glad we did. Saturday was pleasant with a little rain that was not bad at all. Fishing was great as we all caught fish. Saturday evening the entire crew hopped on my bigger boat and we went fishing for reds, trout and convict bass in a building rain. Wind was whipping by dark and rain became deluge. We caught some almost legal reds and the same with the trout. Convict bass where way too small. But great fishing in tough conditions. Next day the rain let up at 10am but the wind was too much so the Sunday was called off. We packed up for the year and put the tin boats away for 2016 ready for 2017 in the swamps of MD and VA.
