Mo and I were on the water before 7....



....and headed out to our usual jaunts.

Last time we went out, our attention was diverted by a pod of playful dolphins. This time, our attention was diverted by working birds and breaking fish so we explored.

It turned out to be a bunch of small stripers.



This one being the biggest!



We then left them and went to Holland Point where we picked up some nice perch.

But I wanted another shot at those big ones that Bob and I caught at the beach jetty....



....so, where did it go? Mo and I noted how high the water was a couple of hours before high tide. The jetty pic was a high tide. Lost of storm surge...quiet but high water.

We struck out there and went to a place that has produced in the past...but not with Mo. But we went anyway.

1st fish was a small striper and then we picked up a bunch of nice perch. Had to make sure the cast was right as well as the speed as we had some fast moving water.







On the way back we stopped at the Wagon Wheel and we both got a bowl of chili and a Cuban BBQ sammie that was great.



I saved 1/2 for lunch tomorrow.....
