9-2-16, out of Gravelly

Curly and I went today...on an early striper scouting mission.

It was great to fish out of my boat and using my truck to get it there!

It was an outstanding (but chilly) morning!

Curly is now the Silver Buddy blue cat king! He was hammering them (10 in all)!

I did catch a couple....

With those little yellow perch around, that chartreuse color made a difference I bet.

Except that the paint wore off after a bit.....

I us d a similar color slim rattle trap on only had 1 bite it. May have missed a second. One of mine took a jig with a paddl tail swim trailer.

Nice!
Was bike riding down there. Saw I guy catch a 30 inch rock fish at the spill over at the end of the channel, so there must be some in there.
