9-10-08 Cedar Lake early AM report
I fished Cedar (beind my house) for an hour this morning and they were biting. I used a 1/0 circle hook. At 1st, I had a short white wacky and caught many (10) small bass...not worth weighing or measuring. I then switched to a watermelon green Case Salted Wacky Jack and I caught a bunch more including four that were over a pound. Some of them were long but skinny!
They need to fatten up so I believe we will start to get lots of reports with bigger fish caught. The biggest was 1.4 pounds but he could have gone 2 pounds easy!

I went out at lunch time and caught 6 more (calm and flat lake). The 1st four were on just 6 casts but they shut down when the wind picked up. The biggest was a pound (as I was talking to Curly on the phone).
