After a breakfast burrito from Anita's, Jeff and I got to Truxtun Park at 7:30 for a day of white perch fsinhing. Only poles we brought were the Ultra Lights as the bay was forecast to be quite choppy.
It was a gorgeous morning....with a little wind.
I wanted to change things up a bit so we skipped the condos and headed right for the radio towers....No wake for 3/4 of that ride.
Once there, we decided to start off the wood by a few hundred yards and in no time, skunks off!
We did pretty well there catching a few in the 10" range but not quite to 11. We were satisfied for sure.
Once the boat traffic started we headed deep into the Severn and hit Hopkins Creek. Only caught a few there but we had a nice lunch. Nice sights!
Anyone want a good deal on a boat? Call me!
And....Jeff caught this very nice pickle!
We finished off at Brewer's pond and caught many a perch but none bigger than 9 3/4".
My faith has been restored. While they are not in great numbers, we definitely caught @75 which keep us interested. Plus, did I mention it was a beautiful day?

That is a crappie spinner that I get from Tennessee. Part of the arsenal.....perchies love them. Heck, I even threw a curly tail grub on one of your jigs. It caught fish as well.
