Pictures will be posted as I get them....thousands to go through.
In the meantime, here are some comments form sponsors and volunteers:
"Looking forward to next year already!!"
" Thanks with allowing me the opportunity to help."
"we really enjoyed helping out at the event! The Sterling Lions Club is looking forward to helping out next year. I would also like to thank the person that taught my grandson to fly fish. He was so excited to try his hand at trying to fish and was even more excited to catch a fish! That was all he could talk about when we had dinner at Taque this evening. Again, thanks!! "
"Today was special for Barbara and me because we got to see some friends and learn a little bit more about them, and we appreciate the opportunity to help in a very small way."
"Awesome! No need to thank me, I had fun, happy to help. "
" thank you for a wonderful event today and some great fishing. My little girls had a blast fishing and I had a great time as well. The men and women who volunteered their time today are top notch and it was a blessing to have met them. Thank you!"

Ernie, I took a lot of photos, so I'll clean em up and put it on a thumb drive or cd and mail it to you! In the meantime, I'm doing a short write up for my company and would like to ask for a high quality photo of the group that we posed for.....at the end of the event if anyone has one.
ps. It was a great event. I look forward to next year and even have some ideas that might help.

The ideas are aplenty. Greg and I (with our dates) went to dinner Saturday night and chatted about it. We learned a lot and have a great start.
Pictures are coming soon.....

Glad I could be a part of the event! I don't have post-processing skills so I'm glad they turned out okay. Can't wait to see the ones that others took!

What do you mean choking up? I was just getting ready to introduce the guest speaker, Rep. Barbara Comstock.
Thanks again for taking these great shots. The ones of Dakota (little girl admiring the caught fish) are priceless!

Yeah all the kids were so darn cute. Are we able to get the pictures to those families?

We will send an email to the volunteers and participants leading them to this site and to fishingcommunity.org

Does anyone have a photo of the veterans and Comstock at the end?

Paul- They are still working on all the other photos and will be on fishingcommunity.org at some point.

I have pics how do I post them?

photobucket is the way I do it.....once you upload it to the site (your account), you can copy and paste a link that lets you post pics here. I'm sure there are better ways out there....this is the way I've been doing it.

I do, but they were looking at the more professional camera (as they should have) and I'm sure those came out better. They should have been on the disk that I gave Ernie though.

I sent the disc on to fishingcommunity.org. I thought I captured all of the pics that were not duplicates.
Maybe I missed one....
