Re: Wounded Heores Fishing Project, August 1- Pavilion Lake!

I signed up for photographer. I am getting all of my wisdom teeth removed the day before, so I don't think I should be talking, or teaching people to throw sharp objects tongue I plan to be there, but I may have to call out if, for some reason, the surgery leaves me in poor condition. Unfortunately I won't be able to enjoy the lunch at the event sad

Ernie, I had a productive meeting with my marketing director and team.  They feel this fits in their wheelhouse for efforts and would like some follow on details if possible.  Who else are they affiliated with (USO, WWP, etc).  How are they marketing to the veterans?  What number of personnel are they looking for?  Just overall details on effort.
There is a positive response to donating, but there is potential for much more.

The best donation is cash as we can then go but fishing stuff ofr the Heroes to take home.

I am donating a bunch of baits (soft plastics) that they can use on fishing day.

I'll sign up using the main link for a more functional role, but I have a six pack of beer and a case of club soda I can't drink anymore for health reasons.  I also have some soft plastics to contribute.  It's not nearly enough, but it's a start.

We can definitely use the club soda.....refreshing when cold!

We have 2 piles started, this will help.

One pile is new stuff for prizes and the other pile is for use that day.

Just found out that we are getting a group from Ft. Belvoir.

It's humbling to see the donations coming in.

We are up to $600 in online donations and Wegmans called Samantha Bailey today and are are donating 20 trays of subs, water, soda and chips.

Incredible!
