Wind whipped Crappie
Waited until the wind died down a bit this evening and took the 2wt fly rod out. Ran a small yellow popper across the surface...caught a bunch of small LMB's, BG's, and this Crappie...of course I didn't have my tape measure....what do you think 11"?
Thoughts?

I do the same often......looks right.
A friend of mine has actually put markings on his rod to get a better reading.
Time to go fishin' again!
