DC Striper Report 10-12-14

Got the boat on the water about 11:30 am and the hunt began.  Lots of dead grass floating everywhere made for tough casting and absolutely impossible trolling.  After 2 hours of marking nothing, I finally found a few fish.  Caught 2 that were 23 and 24 inches.......back to back............and then they scattered not to be found again.  Here is the 24".  I threw him back since he was skinny......as was the 23".

OK.  Gonna be hard to beat 54 stripers in a day in the fall.
