Beaverdam Pond

Tried my luck at another spot I used to fish quite a bit.  Caught two little bass on a lipless.  The big surprise was the 5-6lb catfish that absolutely murdered my swimbait...  literally one of the most vicious strikes I can ever remember and certainly the first time catching a cat on a lure of that size.  Pics to come

Re: Beaverdam Pond

Some people put catfish down but they hit a lure with a vengeance.

This is like déjà Vu all over again.

Looking forward to Friday.

Re: Beaverdam Pond

for reference... the swimbait is 5" long.  didn't measure the fish but i guess 22"-24" and 5lb+

almost turned him into the lake pirate... another 1/4" and he would have to wear a patch over that eye wink
