I heard that Travis finished 2nd fishing in my favorite creek. Peacefully he can let us know how he did it.

Re: NHBA- Saturday, April 12

John sure did put us on the fish, well compared to everyone else.  Even around high tide the water in the creek was lacking and it wasn't sticking around.  John started off with a 8-10lb snakehead.  Then I got my first of three keepers that were all about 3lb. John got a bass and then another smaller snakehead.  All of these were in 1-2ft of water.  I caught one more before we left while there was still enough water to do so.  Both of my bass were caught on a red crawfish pattern baby 1 minus.  John used the same pattern on a square bill crankbait and one of his chatterwackies.

The rest of our fish were caught at the mouth of the Pomonkey in 2-3ft of clearer water with sparse grass.  I caught one small one (14.5") with a senko and my final keeper on a Rick Clunn squre bill I had once found and painted white.  Some where along the way I had another short bass (14.75").
