Buxton NC surf

Drove down Friday night and arrived to at 8am to get my ORV Pass. Headed out to the point and set up on south side. Little and I mean little blues ate us up for a while. So we moved to Frisco and got a couple black drum on clam mullet sandwiches. Sunday the wind kicked up to 40 mph. I tried the front of the motels several times and 8n bait, but it would just drift down the surf. Monday we got up early and set up on a push on the out side bar at low tide just short of the point on the north side and in 20 minutes landed a 24 and 26 drum. Headed down to Frisco for some ground fish and filled 1/2 a cooler with sea mullet and blacks in the next hour on bloodworm bites and very small circle hooks.

Just 20 minutes can make three days worth all the frozen fingers and "darn I can not feel my toes." WORTH IT>>
