6-14-13, Cedar
Taking a lead from Travis, I used some bigger flies in an attempt to catch some bigger blue gills. It did not work. I did catch a few but they were all under 8". However, did catch 5-6 LMB. I didn't have a scale but I may have reached the 6-7lb mark had I weighed them. The top water bite was tough...lots of short strikes.
Here is a nice 11" crappie...
Time to go fishin' again!

Ha!
I was hoping today would be a good day...caught many BGs but only 1 over 8". Plus a nice LMB that was probably 1.5lbs. Nice tug on a 4wt.
Time to go fishin' again!

I only got some 7" BGs, a couple dink bass and a 10" crappie. I'm still not sure how I like it with the lawn chair. If I'm not doing a lot of paddling I think it's alright.
