Best 5 today were 22 lbs 7oz total

Loving that after-rain bite!  Most of my big fish this afternoon were loaded up at a current break and fell victim to a slow-popping jig, with a few on a 10-inch power worm.  The top five weighed in a 22 lbs 7 oz total, and I caught a total of 10 that were over 2 lbs, with a few dinks.  Best poundage day this summer!

5 lbs 3 oz was the biggest of the day:

Followed by a 4 lb 12 oz:

Then 4 lb 9 oz:

A decent 4 lb 1 oz:

Then a 3 lb 14 oz to round out the top five:

Other contenders were a 3 lb 9 oz:

And a 3 lb 5 oz:

Really nice fishes Brent smile .  Folks are going to want to find that pond after seeing all those big girls tongue .........it's definitely a pig-pond.  I don't believe any of the Ashburn Village ponds can beat that bag of 22+.

You have 7 bass on the board over 5 lbs from that pond.  I bet you can pull a 25 lb bag out of there! big_smile

I was lucky they were schooled up yesterday but there are definitely some pigs in there. Best kept secret in Arcola:).

20 plus is awesome. I think I could break 20, but it would take a special day and a good sonar unit.  To do that off the bank is impressive indeed
