To start with...........I busted my Hawg Trough into many pieces yesterday when it flew out of my boat on Hwy 7 . So I'm stuck with a tape measure until Cabella's ships my new ones. I knew the bass would be schooling at one of my favorite "current breaks" when we get heavy rain. Went to the spot after work and picked off 6 very nice bass in less than 30 minutes doing the "Erine Shuffle"......I did not move 10 feet during that time. Best 5 were each over 3 lbs and a lowly 2.3 lb'er for the 6th. All of them had been stuffing themselves with crawfish and bluegill. Here thay are:
18.5" (3.7 lbs)
17.5" (3.0 lbs)
17.5" (3.3 lbs)
17.75" (3.5 lbs)
19.25" (4.4 lbs)
16" (2.3 lbs)
Best 5 total 17.9 lbs!

Nice fish! I managed a few decent ones this afternoon also using the inflow-current. The after-rain bite has been awesome this year if you follow the flow................
