Pavilion Lake Report - 7/5/08

This morning I had the opportunity to fish with my cousin who is a Captain in the U.S. Army. He was in town for the weekend and we celebrated the 4th of July with a bbq and family. Thus, it was only appropriate that we throw a line in the next morning.

We headed to the Pavilion to target some fish and had a great deal of success. Between the two of us we managed 15 LMB on a variety of plastic worms. Most of the fish were tight to cover (almost always grass).  The bass ranged from small to about 1lb. The fish population seems to be strong and it was nice to share one of the great little lakes we have in Ashburn with my cousin.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
