May 8, NoVA CCA- Special speaker....Mr. Joe An (Comeonfish)
Do NOT miss this one.....open to the public.....free of charge!
Joe will share his knowledge and experiences with our group. Be prepared for some exciting video footage of Joe’s adventures fishing from a kayak.....from the Upper Potomac to Lake Anna and all the way down to the CBBT. Plus many spots in-between. Joe's videos are taken with a high quality GoPro camera and are excellent (as many of you have already seen).
He has a reputation for his "incredible awareness, readiness and preparation".
Maybe he will show us how to self rescue...like he did in my living room a few weeks ago!

This was the first meeting I've been able to make and I left really excited about the new friends I've met, new techniques to try out, and the knowledge that this community shares a genuine quality of support and teaching like no other. Joe presented great footage and insight into kayak fishing as well as spearfishing....but the big take away for me was the kayak life of fun, safety, toasting a drink to it all. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but we all laughed throughout the presentation and sat in amazement of the skills presented. Thank you Joe!! Just want to shoot out a thanks to michael and mustafa for providing more kayak insight and ernie for bringing us all together! PS...what an awesome wife joe has!
