5.0 before the rain
Crazy two weeks at work and other issues have kept my rods in the rack lately but managed to hit the water late this afterenooon around 6 pm before the rain got heavy. Caught this decent 5.0 lb on the third cast and had another 3 lb plus shake off right in front of my hand. Overall, a great 15 minutes but had to vacate when the lightnening started cracking! Don't mind the eulogy "he died doing what he loved best"...........................just not today!
Just heard the rain stop so I may hit it again!

Caught another approx 4 lb LBM on round 2 but raining too hard to take a picture and risk ruining my iphone! All three bass this evening along the bank shallows adjacent to newly sprouted cattail growth......can you say pattern for tomorrow?

Got out early this morning since that is probably the only time I can fish this weekend. Couldnt find the big girls as the water was still a bit cold but managed to pull in a few 2 - 3 pounders using a small in-line spinner. Had light tackle with 4-lb mono and the drag set loose......great fight!
