Managed to get in a few hours of fishing this afternoon and the bass were on the move and feeding shallow.  My first was a 5.3 on a jig.



Followed by a 4.0 on a pumpkin seed shakey head.

A decent 2.5 to 3 pounder was next on a jig again but I didnt weigh it.

Caught 2 more around 2 lbs each and had 6 others get off.  All were shallow in less than 5 feet of water.  Not sure why I had so many get off but they would just bump and run.  Frustrating but good fun.  Hopefully I can fine-tune my hookset tomorrow!
